Gill - Colored Pencil Fine Art Original

$275.00

15”x18” colored pencil original, framed.

When I was really little, my father, in one of his money raising ideas, decided to breed betta fish to sell to pet stores. Otherwise known as Siamese fighting fish, due to their tendency to be territorial with other betta fish, they will fight, often to the death. So, to keep them safe and healthy, Dad would keep them individually housed in small clear plastic cups until they were taken to the pet store. I loved watching all these colorful fish swim around like silk scarves flowing through the water. I would love to have a nickel for how many times my parents had to say “don’t touch” to us kids.
