Skeleton Crew - Colored Pencil Fine Art Giclée Print

from $10.00

7”x5”, 10”x8“, or 14”x11” colored pencil giclée print, double matted - ready to frame.

An old farmhouse on the coast of Maine belongs to my mother. It has been passed down for four generations while the land has been passed down for seven generations. Tucked into a beam in the barn was an old can full of keys. Not a single one fit anything in the house. Speculation for their use began to arise, centering on the lives of the past house occupants.

Could one of them unlock a steamer trunk by one of our sea captains, open the local schoolhouse by one of our teachers, secure the tools of a carpenter or keep the hope chest of one of the brides’ safe? We will never know, but we can have fun guessing.
