The inspiration for drawing these tiny delicate white bells is due to them being my absolute favorite flower. Each spring I eagerly wait for the little green pipes to come out of the ground and open into a couple of broad leaves. From there a little tree of flowers emerges from its base, giving off a sweet-smelling fragrance. They sure can pack a huge amount of aroma for such a small flower.
Incidentally, the Lily of the Valley is the birth flower for the month of May and represents humility, chastity, sweetness and purity.
